Welcome to Moyesway Shooting Sports
Moyesway Shooting Sports is a full service sporting clays club that offers daily shooting, professional instruction, fundraisers, and private events. The club is owned and operated by former NSCA director Brett Moyes and his wife, Whitney Masterson-Moyes. Here, amongst breathtaking views and challenging targets, you can master the art of sporting clays shooting or host an unforgettable event.
What is Sporting Clays?
Unfamiliar with Sporting Clays? No problem. Sporting Clays is like golf with a shotgun. At Moyesway, you will enjoy a picturesque tour of our 85 acre facility while stopping at various stations to try your skill at shooting different configurations of clay targets. The round discs, about the size of a teacup saucer, are thrown into the air to mimic the flight pattern of birds. If you need a little more instruction upon arrival, one of our range managers will be happy to escort you out to the course and give you a few pointers to get you started. We also offer more intensive, professional instruction at an hourly rate.
Daily Shooting
Moyesway Shooting Sports is nestled among rolling hills on the edge of the Texas Hill Country. You will enjoy up to 22 sporting clays stations designed to challenge shooters of all skill levels and ages. Our facilities are just 20 minutes from San Marcos, New Braunfels, Seguin, Lockhart, and Luling; 35 minutes from Austin; and 45 minutes from San Antonio. We welcome the public and our business hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 9AM to dusk, year round.
Events
At Moyesway Shooting Sports, we can host a gathering from 5 to over 500 people. Our event services are piecemeal and can be collected into a customized package to best meet your needs. We can handle everything from registration to trophy procurement and also arrange for local lodging and catering. Let us make your next event the one to be at!
